Well…. I actually sat down at my desk last night and tried to scrap! Not much happened. I did a cover page for a photo album for a friend (along with a cute tag)…. and then I finished up a clip board that I did for Madi. Sorry for the bad photo… my digi camera sucks! Ü
Madi (and her comforter & pillow) end up in my bed, along with the dog AND the cat! Ü Actually, the cat often sleeps at the top of either my pillow or Carl’s, but the dog isn’t allowed on the bed (at least when Carl’s home!)……
I have been a bad blogger this past week! Here is an update about what has gone on in the Moll house….
Carl left last Sunday for Chicago for work. He was gone until Friday, so he missed most of the excitment of the week!
Tyson (and his friend Lewis) were in a car accident (in Carl’s car) last Monday. Everyone (except the cars) are fine (thank heavens), but we are still waiting to hear back from our insurance adjuster regarding the status of Carl’s car. It looked pretty bad.
It was Finals week for Tyson, which meant 1/2 days of school, but intense testing. Looks like he came out fine, acing most of his finals! (Phew)
Since Carl was out of town, Madi got to visit with her friend Jessica (Hi Jessica!) after school Tues – Thurs, which she loved! It worked out great, since I don’t get off work until 5:30
The kids were out of school on Friday, so they were home when Carl returned from Chicago. He wasn’t too pleased not to have a car, but we have rental car coverage, so he was able to pick up a nice car to drive until his is fixed.
Basketball games on Friday. Sophomore, JV & Varisty all won! YEA BULLDOGS! Tyson played great, and was the leading scorer in the Soph. game.
Saturday brought softball practice for Madi and a suprise birthday party for one of Tyson’s friends.
Sunday Carl worked, Tyson had baseball and basketball practice, and Madi and I just relaxed!
I CANNOT tell you how happy I am that it is FINALLY FRIDAY! Woo Hoo! Bring on the weekend! Even though this has been a short week, it seems like forever. UGH! I’m leaving work at 3:00pm today, to go watch Tyson’s sophomore and JV basketball games. Then off to BONCO (bunko) with the girls. Should be fun! Tomorrow night is the Winter Formal Dance, so tomorrow morning I’ll be running around trying to find a nice black dress shirt and cream tie for Tyson to wear. His date suggested he wear all black and a cream tie (???), since she will be wearing a cream dress. Oh well! Not sure what Madi has planned for the weekend, probably a movie or shopping with one of her friends. Oh, and I booked my flight to Vegas this morning! My friend Nic is coming over from New Zealand for CHA and her 10 year wedding anniversary, so they are going to renew their vows in Vegas! And since I have never met Nic in person, I’m going down for the weekend for the wedding, and to meet up with some of my scrapping friends! Unfortunately, I won’t be able to stay for CHA (bummer for me!), but it will be a blast nontheless! I hope everyone has a super-fantabulous weekend!
Happy 16th Birthday Tyson! I can’t believe that you are 16! Where did the time go? It just seems like yesterday that I held all 9.12 lbs of you in my arms for the first time! You have been such a joy to have in our lives! So full of energy and zest for life! You have brought us so much happiness and FUN! There is never a dull moment when you are around! Enjoy life Tyson, just as life enjoys YOU! We LOVE YOU!!!!
The Utah UTES just beat Georgia Tech in the Emerald Bowl! 38 – 10!!! Woo Hoo! Go UTES! What a great game for the Utes! We were ‘supposed’ to be the underdogs, but we sure didn’t play that way! What a great way to end the season! WAY TO GO UTES!
