I’m still alive, just crazy, busy! We are STILL playing football, which is a GOOD THING! We made it through the first round, quarter finals and won our semi-final game last Friday. So….we are playing in the 3A State Championship game this Friday! Woo hoo! Go BULLDOGS! I’ll update soon! I have oodles of fun pictures and stuff to share!
Fifteen years ago today……Madison Alexandra Moll came into this world and never looked back! We have been blessed beyond measure to have this amazing, passionate, caring, funny and wacky girl in our lives! She keeps us on our toes and laughing constantly. She is confidant in herself and her beliefs! She doesn’t like DRAMA! She loves to be social and have a good time! She loves her dad and her brother more than they know, and they love her back ten fold! We LOVE you Madi! Happy, Happy Birthday! Thanks for bringing so much Joy into our lives!
Wow. I cannot believe it is here….in two minutes, it will be Thursday, October 18th. Senior Night. The last regular season home game for the Judge Memorial Bulldogs. Four years of high school football. Some of the best nights of my life, and of Tyson’s life. Memories that will last a lifetime for all of us! Where has the time gone? Here is Tyson, his second (?) yr. of little league football. How freakin’ cute is he?
The Senior players will be honored before the game tomorrow night. We are so proud of Tyson. He has had an awesome experience at Judge, playing football, going from a little freshman, to a senior captain. Go Tyson! We love you and are so very, very proud of you! In honor of Senior Night, my ultra cool brothers put together a mini video clip. You’ll need your speakers on…One of our coaches puts together a rap song for the seniors each year. It’s pretty cool!
Long time, no blog! Work has been crazy, and life has been crazy! We are in the midst of football season and high school life. LOL! Having two in high school is insane! All the social stuff and homework, etc. Both kids are having loads of fun though! Before each home game (and some away games), we get together with a group of families and ‘tailgate’. This photo was taken after our big win over our rivals Juan Diego. The boys had changed out of their uniforms and joined us for a few minutes before heading off to their own get together. Good Times!
The Homecoming Photos were delivered to the school yesterday. Still bummed that Madi wasn’t able to get pictures at the dance (that’s part of the fun). Those darn seniors that refuse to wait in line….they just butt ahead of everyone….which makes the line even longer! One of those senior line butters was Tyson, of course! So, he got photos. Below is the group photos, and then his individual ones. You can see the ‘theme’ of the dance was Vegas Lights. Cute kids!
11. TV WEATHER ANCHOR NAME: (Your 5th grade teacher’s last name, a major city that starts with the same letter), Marsh Montana (I like it switched: Montana Marsh)
It’s Sunday morning, and we are still trying to recover from the Homecoming festivities! We won the Homecoming Football game on Friday night. Tyson scored two TD’s and had a great game. The team we played wasn’t all the great, so we beat them 52-20. Saturday was spent running around getting Madi and Tyson ready for the dance. What a hectic day. Too many errands! Madi met up with a group of girls and got ready for the dance together. Their dates arrived there, to pick them up. I was able to get a few photos, but my camera promptly died. Which meant, I didn’t get any photos of Tyson and his date! Bummer! I will have to rely on a few other mom’s to get me copies. Both kids had a great time though. After getting the kids off to dinner and the dance, Carl and I headed over to a BBQ at the home of one of T’s good friends. We hung out with a few other parents and had an awesome time. So awesome, we didn’t get home until about 3:00 AM! YIKES! Here are a few photos from the game, and of Madi and her friends and date.
Phew! Crazy week! Well…..it’s that time of year again. Homecoming! Which means the big Homecoming Football Game, and the Homecoming Dance. Tyson’s last……Madi’s first!
Both kids are going to the dance this year. Tyson asked a senior cheerleader, by giving her a bouquet of flowers at the start of the last football game.
She answered him on Monday Night during the Football Team Dinner:
Madi was asked by a freshmen football player (cute!)! So we had to shop for a dress:
We still need to take get shoes and jewelry….and Tyson has no idea what he is going to where yet. Still a lot to do . The dance is on Saturday. Exciting!
Also, the Judge Bulldogs (ranked #2), played the #1 ranked Logan Grizzlies last Friday night. We were NOT picked to win. BUT…guess what?!?!?! WE DID! We won 35-7! It was a pretty easy win, and I think we shocked everyone. Tyson had an AWESOME game, scoring 3 touchdowns and was named Player of the Game by Comcast (who filmed the game). As soon as the game was over, Tyson was whisked away by the Comcast reporter and they did an on-camera interview. After that, the Salt Lake Tribune interview him, followed by the Desert News, and then the Logan Daily Herald (although that article was only in the print edition). So….cool night for Tyson! The pics are blurry, but you can tell he is being interviewed.
