Just a quick photo share from the last home game of the season, which is also Senior Night. It was a nice night, and all the seniors got honored before the game and each Mom got a nice bouquet of Red/Gold roses/flowers. I look like a total nerd in the photo, but how cute is my boy? Ü

Judge Memorial Catholic High School is about 1 mile or so away from Rice-Eccles Stadium, on the campus of the University of Utah, where the 5A, 4A and 3A State Football games are being held. The Semi-Finals were also held at Rice-Eccles last week. Pretty much since the existance of Judge Memorial football, anytime they made it to Rice-Eccles to play in the Semi Finals or the Championship game, the WHOLE student body would walk TOGETHER to the stadium. This happened last Friday morning. I can’t tell you how absolutely cool this was to witness. 800+ students and faculty walking together in unity to watch their football team. I love it! The student body hasn’t made "THE WALK" since their last championship game appearance in 1993, so this was pretty anticipated. Here is a photo I snapped of Madi and her friends as they arrived at the stadium (along with a few more photos). Once again, students, teachers and fans will make "THE WALK" this Friday night! Go BULLDOGS!

Last night was the LAST team dinner for the football team………that I will be a part of. For the last four years, I have spent pretty much every Monday night in the Judge Memorial Catholic High School cafeteria, preparing and serving team dinner. As a parent of a football player, you are asked to volunteer to help with team dinner at least once during the season. Freshmen year, I was on "pick up carpool" duty for Tyson and his 2 friends, Jordan and Joe….so I usually stopped in to see if I could help at most all of the dinners. Sophomore year, I was asked to help out with table decorations, in addition to the dinners I volunteered for. Junior and Senior year, I was in charge of table decorations for all the dinners. I cannot tell you what a joy it is to volunteer for team dinners. The boys are fed the best food, and they are soooooo thankful and polite. Besides playing in the championship game this Friday night, I think being part of team dinners is one of my very best memories over the last 4 years of football. I have enjoyed every Monday night! Just an awesome experience. This year, we have had more team dinners than ever before, due to our success in the post season. We had our last team dinner last night, and the boys were lucky enough to have two former coaches of Judge Memorial Bulldogs speak to them. They have 6 championships between them, and they had some great words of wisdome for the boys. I am so proud to have been a part of this football program, and SO PROUD of these boys! Love them! This picture is of Tyson (middle) and his friends Joe (L) and Jordan (R). They have been playing football together since they were 8 years old! I can’t beleive we are here……..SENIOR YEAR, and playing for the state championship! What a ride!!! GO BULLDOGS! Bring it home! ****Oh, and part of the playoff tradition at Judge Memorial….NO SHAVING! LOL! Yikes!

Wow. I cannot believe it is here….in two minutes, it will be Thursday, October 18th. Senior Night. The last regular season home game for the Judge Memorial Bulldogs. Four years of high school football. Some of the best nights of my life, and of Tyson’s life. Memories that will last a lifetime for all of us! Where has the time gone? Here is Tyson, his second (?) yr. of little league football. How freakin’ cute is he?
The Senior players will be honored before the game tomorrow night. We are so proud of Tyson. He has had an awesome experience at Judge, playing football, going from a little freshman, to a senior captain. Go Tyson! We love you and are so very, very proud of you! In honor of Senior Night, my ultra cool brothers put together a mini video clip. You’ll need your speakers on…One of our coaches puts together a rap song for the seniors each year. It’s pretty cool!
