The end of a chapter….and the beginning of a new one!

Uncategorized

For the last 13 years I have had at least one child attending school at St. Olafs Catholic School.  Tyson started in Kindergarted and attended through 8th grade.  Madison was in the very first Pre-K class at St. Olafs, and just graduated from 8th grade this last Friday.  Phew!  It is going to be so weird not driving to St. Olafs every morning at 7:50….going through the dreaded carline!  BUT…..I am so excited for Madison and this new chapter in her life….HIGH SCHOOL at Judge Memorial Catholic High School.  She is sooo ready to be there!  10 years at the same school can get pretty old!  I know Madi has some wonderful memories from St. Olafs that will last a lifetime, but I know she is soooo looking forward to making new memories at Judge.  I am thankful that she will have Tyson there with her next year….the big brother senior that can look out for her and show her the ropes…..and give the "evil eye" to any boy that dares talk to Tyson’s little sister!  ÜÜ

CONGRATULATIONS MADISON!  You have made us very proud and we are so excited to watch as you embark on your high school journey!

WE LOVE YOU MADISON!!!!

In other news…..Madison and Carl left for Steamboat Springs, Colorado yesterday morning for a softball tournament.  So far, they have played two games (which they WON!) in rain/snow/sleet!  Yuck!  As of this morning, skies were clear and the sun was shining brightly!  I hope it warms up for the girls!  Tyson should be finishing his last final right about now, and then we are off to the airport for San Diego for a Baseball Showcase.  This is where we will BE.  How cool does that look!?!?!?!

TGIF!  I hope you all have a WONDERFUL weekend!
