Miss Madi

Uncategorized

Madi’s school pictures arrived today.  Yea! The retakes came out great!  We weren’t thrilled with the fact that the principal made the kids wear their school uniforms for pictures this year.  The high school has always done this, but the grade school and middle schools always got ‘free dress’ for picture day.  Kind of a bummer this year.  I think the kicker was the fact that they had to wear a tie.  The tie is reserved for Friday’s only.  When they attend Mass.  The picture turned out cute anyway.  Wish that girl o’ mine would smile bigger!  Cutie pie!

Tyson did not make the varsity basketball team.  Which we knew (and he knew) he wouldn’t.  This year’s varsity tryout was more of a "I know I’m not gonna make the varsity team this year, but take a look at me and remember me for next year"….. Ü Ü  He was back at the sophomore tryouts today.  They should have the team finalized tomorrow.

Carl called and I HAVE MAIL!  Rhonna RAK’d me her new Designing with Digital book!  I can’t wait to play tonight!  Can’t wait to see it!

Happy Tuesday night everyone!  Oh, and here’s Madi!

Pics of both kids are very cute.
Our school does the same thing…they used to be able to wear “out of uniform” clothes on picture day but not anymore. However, our kids dont wear ties (thankfully…yikes!!!!)…they wear khaki or navy bottoms with a white or navy polo shirt. I am not sure I like the tie for a girl at all….nevertheless…Madi makes it look good!!!

Madi is such a pretty girl. I love that pic. Her hair is so pretty too. I wish mine was that straight.
Sorry to hear about Tyson not making the Varsity team. Sounds like he has great sportsmanship. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that he’ll make the sophmore team. Have a great Thursday!!!

Very pretty. I like the tie/uniform look. I, myself went to catholic school up until college – an all girls catholic HS and both my older boys went to 9 years of catholic greade school. I miss the uniforms, but they certainly do not.
Hope Tyson makes the b ball team!
