Homecoming Part #3????

Uncategorized

Well, homecoming date #2 said no.  So sad.  And she didn’t really give a specific reason.  She isn’t friends with the ex-girlfriend so it isn’t that.  She and Tyson are great friends and get along well, so it’s not that.  Odd.  Anyway.  Tyson was fine with it.  He ended up asking a girl (Sydney) that he has been friends with for a few years, but has had a crush on for years.  She goes to another high school, and knows a few of the people in Tyson’s group, so that is good.  He is actually very excited (and nervous!!) to be going with her.  Unfortunately, the ex-girlfriend has a few friends that are going in Tyson’s group and she wants to go along with them in the limo and to dinner.  She does not have a date and is going stag.  Tyson put his foot down and said he would find another group if she goes in the limo with them.  She will make his night (and his date’s night) miserable.  Ugh.  The drama of high school.  And the drama of girls.  Being a parent is so hard.  I keep asking my mom why didn’t she warn me it was going to be so hard?  The decisions that we have to make.  Will we scar them for life?  Are we doing the right thing?  Are we raising them right?  Will they grow up to be independent, strong, loving and caring?  Oi vey!  It’ll drive me crazy if I think about it too much! Ü

I thought I would post this cutest picture I found a few weeks ago.  It is Tyson and a few of his friends from his Catholic Youth League Allstar Team.  They are about 10 or 11, I think.  Too cute!  Tyson is #33.  Love it.  I used a digital frame from a kit that I purchased from HERE.  Have a great day everyone!

I think the reason Tommy still hasn’t asked anyone to the dance is the fear of rejection. It’s a hard lesson to learn, but luckily Tyson is an easy going kid and nothing gets him down. I agree with Tyson, no way that chick is riding in the limo………….no way!!!!

I hope Tysons friends back him up and his ex is not going in the limo with them??? These girls are silly to reject him…he is such a cutie! Glad he isnt too upset about it. He shouldnt be at his age though so its all good that he is being resilient about it all. Teenagers…ugghh….glad I we dont have to do that but once! ha ha
