Is this wrong?

Uncategorized

I know I just barely posted….. but I just had to post again.  Bare with  me….

As many of you know, I suffer from depression… and if you didn’t know, we’ll I do. Ü  I have suffered from depression for approximately 6 years.  It began about 6 months after the death of my sister-in-law.  My doctor diagnosed me with PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder).  Apparently, I went into denial mode and decided I needed to be strong to take care of my brother, niece, dh and kids. (A trait I learned from my mom Ü) Anyway, my body finally rebelled and I became depressed.  I have been on a variety of anti-depressants over the years which have helped me immensly.  Well, I have been feeling very depressed lately.  Extremely depressed. Today has been a horrible day and I have felt on edge the entire time.  Like I could throw the phone through the window or something….  Okay, to make a long story short…. I received my ribbon order from www.stranodesigns.com today!  OMG!  I can’t beleive that a baggie of ribbons could bring such joy and happiness!  Maybe it is the colors, the polka dots, the stripes… who knows!  All I know is that it made me happy!  Maybe I should just order ribbon everyday!  Forgo the medication!  LOL!  Thanks for listening to more rambling!

I think a postal surprise is always a girl’s best gift!!!! Gotta love those men in blue. lol
Glad to hear that you are open to talking about your depression. Too many of us are unwilling to share when that is what we really need!

nothing like good mail to cheer you up. Love the ribbon site but I havent scrapped in forever.
As for the depression, I’m right there with you sister. I keep saying if I lost weight, it would go away but I cant lose weight. Meds do help me, but I’d like to do it on my own.
On other note-you must read Little Earthquakes by Jennifer Weiner. Great book!
    hang in there!
    hugs
